Prophetic Pulpit: Russia's war against Ukraine

                                      Bible prophecy? 

Hi everyone. Since we are so close to the coming of the Lord, we have to ask the question, "Is Russia's war against Ukraine part of end time bible prophecy?" And the answer is, "Yes!" Russia's war against Ukraine is definitely helping fulfill bible prophecy. 

So how is Russia's war against Ukraine helping to fulfill bible prophecy? Take careful notice of the strong alliance between Russia and Iran that is happening because of this war. Iran has become Russia's strongest ally. Iran has supplied Russia with hundreds of drones since Putin's war with Ukraine. With Iran's help, Russia has begun building its own factory to produce attack drones for its use in its ongoing invasion of Ukraine. In return, Russia is now supplying Iran with unprecedented military and technical support.  As part of its growing partnership, Russia is providing Iran with advanced military equipment. In the spring of 2022, Iranian pilots trained in Russia to fly the Sukhoi Su-35, a Russian fighter jet, which Whitehouse officials say indicates Iran "may be receiving the aircraft within the next year."  

So what does this mean? Russia and Iran is transforming into a full-fledged defense partnership.

Because of the Ukrainian war, the Russia-Iran alliance is growing stronger. 

So, how does this fulfill bible prophecy? 

Ezekiel 38 tells us about a war that has not happened yet but will happen in the very near future. It tells us that in the last days Russia and Iran will attack the nation of Israel (See my blog, What is the Gog, Magog war?) Iran's motive will be to "wipe Israel off the map," which Iranian officials have declared numerous times. Russia's motive will be to take over Israel's abundant wealth, making Russia the greatest super-power in the world. 

If Russia's war with Ukraine reveals anything, it reveals this strengthening alliance between Russia and Iran that will culminate in this war against Israel.
