Prophetic Pulpit: The Ultimate Unifier

              One world government without God

1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

In this time in which we live we are hearing more and more about globalization. Globalization is simply the world uniting as one for the common good of mankind. Globalization is simply the nations of the earth working together for the betterment of humanity. In fact when we look at the world's most powerful Global organizations we can go as far as saying, "Globalization is erasing borders and national identity and establishing a universal culture and government for the sake of bettering the health and wealth of the entire world." This is what the most powerful Global organizations in the world are pushing for, and for us that believe the bible we know very soon it is going to happen (Revelation 13).

Globalizations sounds like a very noble cause. Putting away our political and religious differences in order for the governments of the world to work together to improve human conditions sounds like a very just cause. To make a global effort to overcome hazards like poverty, diseases and illiteracy sounds like a very honorable cause.

However, the misfortune of globalization is the unification of mankind apart from God. It is the unification of mankind apart from the Word of God. It is man deciding what is right and beneficial for mankind apart from God's Word. Any form of globalism apart from God's Word is actually anti-God. The bible reveals to us over and over again that no matter how good the intentions are, unification that is not centered around allegiance to God and His Word will ultimately become an instrument of Satan.

Globalization is wrapped in such an alluring package it is easy for people to be misled. The benefits of globalization seem so ethically good it is easy to believe "This is right and I need to support this." Even for Christians it would be easy to look at the benefits of nations working together for the common good and believe, "This is good for our world." However, globalization apart from God only leads further away from God. In fact, ultimately it is going to end in the hands of the Antichrist who will lead the world in absolute blasphemy of God. Daniel 7:25 "He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and laws."

Now in order for the unification of mankind to take place one of the things that is required is the unification of religion, that is, to bring the faiths together. Globalist know that the biggest cause of war in our world today is religion. In order for globalization to succeed the religions of the world must coexist. For that to happen Christians will have to compromise Christian truths. For globalism to work we will need to altar Christian truths to fit the objectives of what globalist say is "good and beneficial for mankind."

Globalist say, "The purpose of religion is to bring world peace." Though this sounds very noble, the question is, "Where do you find that in the bible?" In fact Jesus Himself said, "Don't think that I have come to bring peace to the earth, but a sword." In other words, "Being a Christian will often cause conflict." Not that Jesus enjoys conflict because He is "The Prince of Peace." Jesus is simply saying, "Because the world's systems and beliefs are contrary to God, truth will often be divisive. It will even bring conflict."

"No man can come to the Father except through me" will be divisive and even bring conflict.
"There is no other name in which man can be saved" will be divisive and even bring conflict.

Globalist believe that in order for religion to bring peace in the earth, Christians will have to compromise these truths for the sake of unity between the religions of the world. So followers of Christ are being told that we need to do away with the dogmatic truths of Christianity and embrace a more harmonious Christianity for the benefit of mankind to bring peace into the world.

Here is something we as Christians should keep in mind: Satan's reasoning always appears to make sense to man's fallen reasoning. God says, "My ways are not your ways, nor my thoughts your thoughts." God is saying, "It is absolutely impossible for fallen human reasoning to think like God." So Satan's crafts his lies to appeal to human reasoning. "Do what benefits you. Do what you think is right. Do what you think will benefit the world the most." However, when we think that way, we are actually on the broad road that leads to destruction. There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death (Proverbs 14:12).

God's way can appear difficult. Jesus Himself said, "The gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and few there be that find it." So God's path is not appealing to fallen man's reasoning. But as Christians we know the more we walk on that narrow path the more it leads us into the largeness of God. I have come that you may have life, and have life more abundantly (John 10:10).

I guess for this blog the bottom line is this: today we hear a lot about unity. The world's leaders are saying, "We are a divided nation. Our world is divided. We need to be unified for the sake of bettering our world." But unity that is not centered around allegiance to Christ and His Word is a unity that only leads you further away from God.

The Antichrist will be the ultimate unifier. He will bring mankind together under his leadership and his ideas will make sense to the natural mind. Ultimately he will lead a unified world in the absolute blasphemy of God.

So as Christians, let us not allow ideas that sound good and appeal to human reasoning deceive us. Let us make sure our understanding is based on the scriptures.

More than ever we should be a people given to the study of the Word. Just as we clearly see in the temptations of Christ, the devil will always use the scriptures to justify his reasoning. When we look closely at the temptations of Christ, Jesus did not defeat the devil by quoting the Word, He defeated the devil by rightly interpreting the Word. More than any other time in history we should be a people studying the Word so we can rightly interpret the Word.

God bless.
