Prophetic Pulpit: Biden In Bible Prophecy

                              Biden in bible prophecy?  

I know many Christians who are still upset over Joe Biden's election as President.

I have heard many protests on the matter: "He was robbed!"  "Biden may be America's President, but Trump is God's President!" 

Though I may somewhat sympathize, I am absolutely convinced we are so close to the return of Christ that God is in total control. Joe Biden would not be President if God had not placed him there.

In fact, within three months of his inauguration, President Biden has already helped to fulfill bible prophecy.  And someone would say, "And how, may I ask?" 

In April 2021, three months after his inauguration, President Biden released the statement that the killing and deportation of more than one million Armenians by the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey) was "genocide." The Armenian genocide he was referring to was the physical annihilation of Armenian Christians in the Ottoman Empire from the Spring of 1915 to Autumn 1916. As many as 1.2 million Armenians died in the genocide. 

In his statement Biden was showing both the Armenian and American people he was following through on a campaign promise he made a year ago, to institute the annual commemoration of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day. Biden campaigned on a promise to make human rights a central guidepost of his foreign policy. 

Needless to say the Turkish government was furious!

It immediately scorned Biden for his statement. Preposterous!  The Turkish government immediately made a statement of its own: "We regret and denounce in the strongest terms the statement of the President of the US regarding the events of 1915."

Turkish President, Tayyip Erdogan even went as far as to declare Turkey was cutting trade ties with the US and would begin doing most of its trading with Russia. According to the export data, to this day the value of exports to Russia has increased by  75%, 

It would be an understatement to say Vladimir Putin is tickled pink. Economically, Russia has always strongly benefited from Turkish trade. Since 2021, Turkey has become one of its biggest trading partners. 

So, what does all this have to do with bible prophecy? 

Ezekiel 38 tells us that one day Turkey will be a major player in the Russian-Islamic invasion of Israel. Turkey will partner with Russia to obliterate Israel. Even now we see the alliance between Russia and Turkey growing stronger and stronger. 

Biden fulfilling bible prophecy? You bet! Anything we see strengthening the ties between Russia and Turkey is the fulfillment of bible prophecy. And I am sure in the days to come, seeing we are so close to the Lord's return, President Biden will have other roles to play in setting the stage for the Lord's return. There is much more we can talk about regarding the Biden Administration and current events in bible prophecy, but we will save them for another time. 

Additional comment: 

I do wish to say I am not trying to convey some kind of political statement. This blog has nothing to do with trying to show support for or opposition against President Biden and his administration. My only motive is to show how all current events are lining up with bible prophecy, and we should have a wonderful expectation in our hearts. Current events is God's megaphone and God is proclaiming to His people, "Look up! My return is so close!"
