Prophetic Pulpit: 10 Kingdoms

                                                                                                                                                   Agenda 2030

In 1992 the United Nations held a Summit in Rio de Janeiro called "the Rio Summit."
There it introduced to the nations of the world "Agenda 21." The purpose of Agenda 21 was to set a plan of action to guarantee that life in the next millennium would change substantially for the better for all nations. Agenda 21 promised to combat environmental damage, poverty and disease through global cooperation.

Agenda 21 was divided into 5 sections:
People: To end poverty and hunger for all
Planet: To protect the planet from degradation
Prosperity: To ensure all human beings can enjoy prosperous and fulfilling lives
Peace: To foster peaceful and inclusive societies
Partnership: To strengthen global solidarity

May I say these are very lofty and noble goals. Sincerely, there seems to be a desire to solve many of the problems that are plaguing our earth today in order to help the people of the world better their lives.

Today Agenda 21 has been revised to "Agenda 2030."
17 new goals have been added. I am not going to list them all but here are a few.
Goal 1: By 2030 end poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 2: By 2030 end hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition
Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts
Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for positive development

Again, these are very honorable goals.

Yet, by now someone has to be thinking, Okay, Tim, very informative. But what does this have to do with bible prophecy?

In order to achieve its goals, the United Nations has divided the world into 10 regions.
They feel Agenda 2030 has a greater chance of succeeding if designated overseers stayed focus on their region. Understandable.

However, I can't help but remember what the scriptures says about 10 kingdoms in the earth.
Revelation 7:24 As for the ten horns, ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings.

Here John is speaking about the rise of the Antichrist. It appears that 10 kings and kingdoms will exist before the Antichrist steps onto the world stage. He will subdue 3 of these kingdoms and the other 7 kings will submit to his rule. This will begin the world domination of the Antichrist.

Is it possible that the United Nation's ten regions of the world are a prelude to these ten kingdoms?
Could be. It is possible. Because we are so close to the Great Tribulation we can't rule it out.

Keep in mind these ten kings and kingdoms may arise only after the rapture. The rapture is the catalyst to so many end time prophetic events. Whether Agenda 2030 is the prelude to these 10 kingdoms or not, even as I speak, everything is in place, anxiously waiting our departure.

What exciting times we live in! No other time in the bible is prophetically spoken about more than these times in which we live. In the bible there are more prophecies (much more) about Jesus return than His birth. We are living in the most prophetic time in history.
